Fortescue Metals Group Ltd is an iron ore production and exploration company with assets located in the Pilbara region of Western Australia.

Fortescue owns and operates integrated operations spanning two iron ore mine hubs, the five-berth Herb Elliott Port and Judith Street Harbour towage facility in Port Hedland and the fastest heavy haul railway in the world. Fortescue was first publicly listed in 1987, and is now ranked as one of the largest companies on the ASX. It is the fourth largest iron ore producer in the world after BHP Billiton, Rio Tinto, and Vale.
