Director of Human Rights Daisy Gardener
Daisy is a strategist, advocate and campaigner.
She has 15 years' experience leading successful business and human rights programs and campaigns across Australia, Myanmar, Indonesia, Cambodia and Bangladesh. Her experience includes working on mining and tax transparency, land rights and responsible lending, workers rights and gender justice.
She has worked with trade unions and civil society groups on groundbreaking agreements including influencing Australian garment companies to disclose supply chain information, make commitments to living wages and factory safety as well as successful access to remedy for communities impacted by projects.
She holds a Master of International Development and has published widely on human rights, corporate accountability and gender justice.
Daisy is currently an Advisory Board Member of the RMIT Business and Human Rights Centre.
