Possible Australian resolutions re political expenditure

ACCR wants to improve transparency and accountability by moving resolutions at company AGMs.  In the case of resource companies, we are asking them to review their advocacy about climate change.

Our first target company was NAB.  However on 20 September 2016, NAB announced a new policy that means it will stop making corporate political donations.  ACCR was very pleased that NAB changed its policy. Our 2nd target company is BHP.

ACCR thinks that if the government won't act on corporate political expenditure then shareholders should.   We need 100 shareholders to lodge resolutions at company AGMs to ask them to clean up their act, so if you are a shareholder, please join us.

To join us, please fill in this form so that we can include your name when we lodge the resolutions.   If you join us then we will keep you informed about the company reactions and resolutions lodged.
